The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) recently conducted its yearly Operational Staff Retreat in an effort to improve operational effectiveness and map out a path for organizational transformation. The retreat’s subject, “Organizational Renewal through Operational Efficiency,” provided a forum for staff members to participate in cooperative efforts and strategic dialogues targeted at improving the Commission’s performance.
The Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the NCC, Dr. Aminu Maida, stressed the importance of personnel in accomplishing the Commission’s strategic emphasis areas during the retreat. He emphasized the significance of improving the Quality of Experience (QoE) for customers, encouraging industry growth, and strengthening the resilience of the telecom sector. Dr. Maida further stressed how important it is to continue having top-notch regulatory procedures in order to protect licensee standards for the Commission.
Employees were urged to take a leading role in projects designed to advance these important areas. By working together, the NCC hopes to maintain regulatory excellence, support the telecommunications industry, and satisfy the changing demands of customers. Staff members used the retreat as a focal point to focus their efforts on aligning with the Commission’s overarching objectives and to stay at the forefront of promoting positive change in the industry.
