Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (EVC/CEO) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) today, welcomed a delegation from Galaxy Backbone, headed by their Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Ibrahim A. Adeyanju.

 

The courtesy visit served as an opportunity for both entities to explore potential areas of collaboration and exchange ideas on enhancing Nigeria’s telecommunications infrastructure.

 

During the meeting, Dr. Maida and Prof. Adeyanju discussed various initiatives aimed at leveraging technology to improve connectivity and digital services across the country.

The discussions centered on fostering synergy between the NCC and Galaxy Backbone to facilitate the deployment of robust telecommunications infrastructure and broadband services nationwide.

 

Both parties expressed their commitment to promoting innovation and digital transformation in Nigeria, with a focus on expanding access to high-quality telecommunications services.

The visit underscored the importance of strategic partnerships in driving the development of Nigeria’s digital economy and reinforcing the country’s position as a leading player in the African telecommunications landscape.
