As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Chairman of the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) Kogi State chapter, Alh. Ahmed Umar Enesi, has extended warm greetings to Nigerians and entrepreneurs across the country.
In a statement, Enesi reflected on the significance of Independence Day, highlighting the importance of freedom, service to the nation, and individual rights. He commended the Kogi State Governor, Usman Ahmed Ododo, for his efforts in driving economic growth and development in the state through self-realization and sufficiency initiatives.
The NASME Chairman noted that Governor Ododo’s administration is building on the foundation laid by former Governor Yahaya Bello, supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope program. He also highlighted the state’s investments in health security, particularly in preventing, detecting, and responding to outbreaks.
Enesi urged Kogi State government to activate the real sector ecosystem to drive economic growth and prosperity. He emphasized the need to prioritize real sector development, citing the state’s vast arable land suitable for cultivating food and cash crops.
The NASME Kogi State Chairman’s message serves as a timely reminder of the importance of collective effort in shaping a better future for Nigeria. As the country celebrates 65 years of independence, Enesi’s words of encouragement and optimism offer a beacon of hope for a brighter tomorrow.
