The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, has visited the Director General/CEO of the National Identity Management Commission, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, to explore potential areas of collaboration between both agencies.

 

The visit, which forms part of NASENI’s engagement with key federal institutions, focused on the Agency’s National Asset Restoration Programme and other areas of mutual interest such as renewable energy deployment, digital infrastructure, and locally engineered solutions.

 

Mr. Halilu expressed satisfaction with the warm reception and enthusiasm shown by the NIMC leadership, stating that “partnerships like this are critical to achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and ensuring Nigerian institutions are powered by sustainable, homegrown solutions.”

 

He noted NASENI’s readiness to support NIMC in restoring moribund assets, deploying renewable energy to its facilities, and providing engineering support to enhance service delivery.

 

In her response, the NIMC DG welcomed the collaboration and lauded NASENI’s innovative approach to national development, saying, “We are glad to align with NASENI on practical, forward-thinking solutions that can improve our efficiency and reduce operational costs.”

 

The meeting ended with both agencies agreeing to set up a joint technical team to explore implementation frameworks.
