The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has marked two years of transformation under the leadership of its Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, unveiling its milestone report titled *“From Policy to Action.”*
According to the Agency, the past two years have been defined by the transition from ideas to implementation, building an institution that delivers practical results and drives Nigeria’s industrial self-reliance.
The statement highlighted that “the journey from policy to action at NASENI is redefining how Nigeria innovates, manufactures, and partners for growth.”
Among the key achievements are the establishment of new factories such as the NASENI–Troment Diagnostic Kits Plant, strategic collaborations with global partners like the Haier Group, and youth-driven innovation programmes including #InnovateNaija, #DELTHer, and #SheFly.
“These initiatives have created systems that turn ambition into tangible results, empowering young Nigerians, fostering technology transfer, and boosting local manufacturing capacity,” the statement noted.
Halilu emphasized that the two-year milestone is not the destination but a signal that Nigeria’s industrial future is already taking shape.
“Looking ahead, we will continue to Create, Collaborate, and Commercialize for #InfinitePossibilities,” he said.
