The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Khalil Suleiman Halilu, has emphasized the importance of coordination and alignment in effective governance, noting that impact is achieved when institutional mandates correspond with national priorities.
Halilu made the remark while joining Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at the Management Sectoral Retreat organized by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), themed “Strengthening Coordination for Results: Aligning Mandates with Presidential and Service Priorities for Effective Policy Implementation.”
He stated that NASENI is already living the retreat’s theme through its strategic initiatives that align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at driving Nigeria’s industrial self-reliance and sustainable growth.
“At NASENI, we live this theme, aligning our programmes such as Innovate Naija, Irrigate Nigeria, and the Zero Carbon (ZECO) Initiative with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision to promote indigenous innovation and reduce dependence on foreign technologies,” he said.
The retreat brought together top government officials to deepen synergy across MDAs for improved policy outcomes and measurable impact on national development.
