The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, has emphasized that Africa’s next creative revolution will not come from imitation, but from innovation.

Speaking at the Genius Creators Summit themed “AI and the Future of Content in Africa,” Mr. Halilu underscored the role of technology and creativity in shaping Africa’s story in the age of artificial intelligence.

He noted that NASENI is building platforms and partnerships to empower young Africans to create and tell their own stories using technology as a tool for originality and growth.

“Africa’s future belongs to those who create it,” he said. “Let’s make our continent the home of original ideas, not imported ones.”

The NASENI boss reaffirmed his agency’s commitment to fostering a new generation of creators who will lead Africa’s innovation drive and redefine its global narrative.
