In a bid to ensure a seamless and peaceful electoral process, Commissioner of Police CP Chris Aimionowane engaged political leaders and candidates from Arewa/Dandi and Shanga/Yauri/Ngaski federal constituencies in Kebbi State. The Peace Accord signing, scheduled for the upcoming Bye/Re-Run elections on 03/02/24, aimed to foster a level playing ground for all parties.
CP Aimionowane, alongside heads of other security agencies, emphasized the importance of avoiding actions or utterances that could disrupt peace during and after the elections. The leaders were urged to discourage violence and refrain from using provocative language against opponents.
