The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, 455 Base Services Group, Nigerian Air Force, Kano Base, Group Captain M. Sulaiman. In the same vein, the CP paid a visit to the State Controller, Federal Fire Service, Kano Command, Engr. Kareem Oyefola Sholadoye.
In his dual remarks, the Commissioner of Police stated that “This is a visit to my brothers and gentlemen I have respect for. I deemed it very necessary to visit you as it is part of a tradition whenever there is a new leadership in the Police Command. I’m here to appreciate the synergy and cooperation you have been extending to us and appeal not only to sustain it, but to improve on it. Finally, we should consider ourselves as one because our common goal is the security of lives and property. Thank you for the warmest reception.”
In his response, the Commander of 455 Base Services Group stated that “I want to start by thanking Almighty Allah for allowing us to have this visit. This visit is not only essential but also helps in cementing the already existing cordial relationship between the security agencies, including other relevant stakeholders in the State. Our relationship has been cordial, and I assure you that 455 Base Services Group will use all available assets to support you in ensuring peace and stability in the State. Your predecessor has done very well, your team has supported him and I know that they will support you too. I urge you to continue with your current positive approach to policing the State and pray to Almighty Allah to continue to guide and protect you. Thank you and god bless.”
Similarly, in his response, the State Controller of Federal Fire Service stated that “My heart is filled with joy for receiving a father and for the opportunity to work with you. I’m sure that the safety of lives and properties will be prioritized. I want to thank you for the visit and for continuing to keep the State safe despite the complex security nature of Kano State. Thank you, sir.”
The visits were concluded with presentations of souvenirs as a sign of more friendship and cooperation and a display of fire fighting skills by personnel of the Federal Fire Service of the State.
