The Commissioner of Police for Kano State, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, joined by members of the Command’s Management Team, convened a crucial dialogue meeting with Heads of Justice Sector Institutions (JSIs) in Kano State.

 

Organized by the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) Program, the gathering held at the Conference Hall of the High Court of Justice, Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano, aimed at addressing the effective implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) 2019.

 

During the meeting, stakeholders engaged in discussions centered on the presentation of findings from previous stakeholder engagements conducted by RoLAC.

 

The dialogue focused on identifying challenges within the justice system and proposing solutions while also reaching agreements on key provisions of the ACJL aimed at addressing common obstacles faced by JSIs.

 

The collaboration between law enforcement authorities and justice sector institutions underscores a concerted effort to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system in Kano State.
