The edifice, named in honour of the Inspector-General of Police, stands as a testament to his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the modernization and professionalization of the Nigeria Police Force.

Conceived as a world-class multipurpose facility, according to a press statement made available to press, the Conference Centre “will serve as a strategic hub for high-level security deliberations, inter-agency coordination, policy engagements, press conferences and capacity-building programmes.”

The statement e-signed by Command’s PPRO, SP Abimbola Adebisi, indicated that its establishment “reflects the IGP’s forward-looking agenda to strengthen institutional frameworks and equip police commands nationwide with facilities and skills that meet global policing standards.”

In his remarks, IGP Egbetokun commended the Lagos State Police Command under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, for its exemplary performance, administrative excellence, and commitment to operational efficiency.

He urged other State commands across the Federation to emulate the CP Lagos State Command’s dedication to innovation, discipline, and infrastructural development, emphasizing that such initiatives are vital to achieving a more responsive and technologically driven Police Force.
