As Nigeria joins the global celebration of Eid- El-Fitr, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Dayo Mobereola has extended warm wishes to the Muslim Community in the country, emphasising the importance of cooperation and integrity.
According to a statement issued by Osagie Edward, Head, Public Relations Unit of NIMASA on Sunday, the DG stated that Eid-el-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a period of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal.
“It is a time to embrace the values of compassion, unity, and generosity, which are essential in fostering harmony and progress in our society,” he said.
Dr. Mobereola reiterated the commitment to ensuring a safer, more prosperous, and globally competitive maritime sector—one that reflects the resilience and dedication of all stakeholders.
He also urged continued adherence to the principles of integrity, cooperation, and service to the nation.
“May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. Eid Mubarak!” he prayed.
